Vision
All eligible Hamiltonians will vote in the next municipal election as informed, empowered and engaged citizens in order to bring about positive change to our city.
Mission
Our mission is to develop an all-inclusive, apolitical civic league representing Hamilton community stakeholders. We exist to encourage and inspire our community to become informed about local issues, raise community involvement in local democracy, and to promote accountability, accessibility and transparency in our municipal government.
Code of Conduct and Commitment for Members of the Hamilton Civic League:
As a member of the Hamilton Civic League, I recognize membership is a privilege.
I commit to:
1. Understand, support and promote the Vision and Mission of the Hamilton Civic League.
2. Conduct all business and volunteer activities in a reputable manner, to reflect honourably upon the Hamilton Civic League.
3. To maintain the apolitical nature of the Hamilton Civic League by basing decisions and actions on hard data, research, and community input rather than a political, personal, business or organizational agenda.
I understand that failure to adhere to the obligations outlined above can result in the termination of my membership by the Hamilton Civic League's Board of Directors. I also agree that I have no legal recourse if my membership is revoked. All membership donations are non-refundable.
I agree to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Hamilton Civic League, its Board of Directors, volunteers and partner organizations against any and all claims, charges, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, expenses, and liabilities of whatever nature, including negligence, and howsoever arising, that may arise from, or are in any way connected to, my membership, participation, involvement, or association with Hamilton Civic League.

Membership Donations
A voluntary membership donation of $35 is requested to assist the Hamilton
Civic League with start-up administrative expenses however we greatly
appreciate any level of financial support that can be offered.
Cheques should be made payable to the Hamilton Civic League and mailed
to 17 Head St., Hamilton, ON L8R 1P8.

The registration form includes personal, demographic, and legal information.
When you click "Submit & Agree" below you will be signing this agreement
with a binding electronic signature and agreeing to electronic delivery
of that information to Hamilton Civic League.

You understand, accept, and will abide by Hamilton Civic league’s membership
commitments as stated above.

of Use and other disclosures and regulatory materials on our website.
The Hamilton Civic League reserves the right to amend these documents
from time to time and will do our best to notify members electronically
but we are not obligated to do so.
You are aware these documents are subject to change without notice and
it is the sole responsibility of each member to periodically review aforementioned
documents.
