The owners of this Web site are committed to respecting the personal privacy of individuals who visit our site. This page summarizes our privacy policy and practices.

If you join as a member of Hamilton Civic League via our web site or paper application

Your information is transmitted via e-mail or transcribed from your paper application and stored in our membership database. It is used to send information to our members and to gather data about the demographics of our members. We will never share, sell or disclose for any reason your information to any outside organizations or individuals.

If you make a donation

Your financial information is processed by PayPal on their servers and at no point is accessible by us. After PayPal finishes processing your donation and our organization receives it, we use your voluntarily provided donor information for receipting purposes only.

Our website contains constantly updated links to organizations, government, businesses, and other partners within the community and North America. When you link to another site, you are no longer on our site and are subject to the privacy policy of the new site.

This Web site is managed and operated by Hamilton Civic League (HCL) from Hamilton, Ontario. HCL is in the process of registering as a charitable organization. We exist to bring about positive change in Hamilton by engaging and empowering its citizens and promoting participation in our local democracy at a grassroots level. HCL is committed to respecting the personal privacy of individuals who visit our Web site.
